Lens-Lestang
A winding road through a forest that shelters roe deer and salamanders leads to Lens-Lestang.
The still-used Austrian path is between Moras and Lens-Lestang a perpetual reminder of the Austrian occupation of 1815.
A lovely, pastoral countryside and a popular route for walkers between valleys of chestnut trees and acacia groves that are forerunners for the Chambarans forest.
Local history enthusiasts will appreciate the Châtenay chapel, a Romanesque style building that was erected following a vow made at the time of the Crusades.
Now restored, it is a pilgrimage site every year on the 15th August.
