St. Rambert d'Albon, situated on the banks of a gently flowing Rhône, is the archetype of a dynamic little town that enjoys the good life.

In 1900, St. Rambert d'Albon was the major supplier for the French fruit market. The flower decorated railway station is still in use and, in remembrance of days gone past, has a locomotive shunter on view.
The newly restored 19th century church still bears traces of the apse dating from the original 1555 structure.
