The Valloire offers one of the richest soils of France with peaches, apricots, cherries and pears.

La Poire of the Valloire is also now recognized site of outstanding taste. With fruit, alcohol is not far. And the pear is distilled alcohol to become famous.

And the grape is grown to become St. Joseph, one of the greatest wines of the Cotes du Rhone.

In Valloire, farmers were the first to have had the idea to sell their fruit, goat cheese, Saint Marcellin, pognes (a local brioche-scented orange blossom) or charcuterie country directly to the public by opening point of sale or at public events.
